Managed Fiber services


FiberNET provides all of the following services to companies and organizations interested in interconnecting remote locations:

• Design of fiber optic transmission networks;

• Execution of works for the installation of aerial and underground fiber optic networks;

• Interconnect solutions through its own metropolitan network;

• Fiber optic maintenance service.


The interconnection solutions offered through the Metropolitan Network use the infrastructure to provide a point of presence in practically all areas of Bucharest. Transmission is provided by WaveStar's Alcatel-Lucent or ADVA DWDM equipment.

Metropolis range with SDH multiplexing and transfer capacity of 2Mbps-2.5Gbps, ETH 100GbE or FC 16GbE.


Thus, the implemented network allows centralized management, guaranteeing an SLA of 99.9%. Network topologies are also redundant at the operations center level and can provide a variety of services in a variety of capacities, from complex and protected multi-location topologies to simple connections without point-to-point protection. You can also rent a "dark fiber" service.


The company operates its own FO network that almost completely covers Bucharest and is located throughout the country through partners. In the capital, the network is designed with a multi-ring structure that ensures redundancy of physical routes.

Currently, more than 85% of all routes are underground and the conversion of air routes to underground routes is permanent.
